Farm By The Sea
written by Klara Zovko
Soothing like the sea
Like a whale in the endless blue
Dancing in the rain
He’s the protagonist
–
And I wanna set sail at night
And I wanna swim while the moon shines
And I wanna lie on the boat until sunrise
Oh waiting for Perseus to come by
–
Oh I’m afraid to drown
In the dark, deep and silent sea
Oh the ocean bewitched me
In a mysterious and delightful way
–
Restless and mighty waves
Unpredictable storms
In the wide unknown deep
Ships have disappeared
–
Turbulent and calm
I’m enchanted by your voice
Home to many lives
Dive into unexplored depths
–
And I should be living on a small farm by the sea
Observing ocean waves that crash against the shore
It seems so far away and yet so close
I cannot tell
–
And I wanna set sail at night
And I wanna swim while the moon shines
And I wanna lie on the boat until sunrise
Oh waiting for Perseus to come by
–
Oh I’m afraid to drown
In the dark, deep and silent sea
Oh the ocean bewitched me
In a mysterious and delightful way
–
Reflection on the water
Glassy and clear
The ocean everlasting
Eternal and divine
–
And I wanna set sail at night
And I wanna swim while the moon shines
And I wanna lie on the boat until sunrise
Oh waiting for Perseus to come by
